Group Therapy
Group therapy is a highly effective, evidence-based approach where you explore interpersonal conflicts in a safe, confidential space. In my groups you learn to regulate emotions while working through real-life challenges including:
Substance use and addiction
Codependency
Depression and anxiety
Anger management and emotional regulation
Relationship issues
Legal problems
In group therapy, the group itself becomes a microcosm of your daily life. This allows you to:
Practice communication skills in real time
Develop empathy for yourself and others
Exercise healthy boundary management
Use assertive communication without fear
Build self-compassion alongside peers facing similar struggles
This is especially valuable for individuals who want to build up community and culturally familiar support.
My passion for group work comes from my own personal growth in groups. I intend to offer a space that is a "democracy of emotions" — where through language (la palabra), participants support each other on the path toward clarity and discernment.
As a bilingual, Spanish-speaking group therapist, I invite you to experience how group therapy can heal what individual work alone sometimes cannot reach.
